Position Purpose:

– To perform a classic European facial with extractions, facial and décolleté massage and waxing and tinting services on Pure + Simple clients.  The most important aspect of this role is ensuring the customer is pampered and relaxed by providing superior treatment with exceptional attention to detail.  Pure + Simple estheticians have an excellent touch on the skin, a deep understanding of skincare and a passion for helping clients achieve their skin care goals. 

Education/Experience:

• Diploma/Certificate in relevant field
• Esthetician: 3 years’ experience preferred
• Experience with Microdermabrasion and/or IPL an asset

Essential Functions:

• Perform facial treatments and waxing for clients (training provided if needed)
• Perform facials with Microdermabrasion, IPL, LED, and Radio Frequency (training provided if needed)
• Educate clients on their skin, identify, and treat root causes of problems, help solve skincare concerns
• Apply natural mineral make up on clients
• Prescribe skincare routines and products for client skin types
• Keeping work areas clean and sanitized
• Managing inventory of products used
• Take responsibility for and ownership of machine maintenance
• Other duties as required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
