Dermal Fillers are

training with professional guidance from our instructors.
Objectives;
· Review of fillers available in Canada including Juvederm, Teosyal, Emerval, Esthelis,
Princess, Restylane, etc.
· Review of basic filler
areas – cheek,
nasolabial folds, marionette lines, fine lines.
· Discussion regarding
avoidance and treatment of serious complications eg. arterial
necrosis, granulomas, blindness.
· Use of cannulas for HA fillers
· Advanced Injections:
§ Subcutaneous cheek hollows
etc, Lips – vermillion border,
fine lines, volume and

This 1-day intensive
hands-on training workshop
will present the history, development, and characteristics of dermal fillers (Collagen, Restylane,
Juvederm, Radiesse, Prevelle, Sculptra,
and Silicone). Comprehensive didactic will be presented of the different injection techniques and safety issues, as
well as management and treatment of complications. We will discuss
pain management modalities including topical numbing
agents and dental
nerve blocks and infiltrations.
We will discuss the consultation and
assessment process, implement selection criteria of filling agents, and explore the importance of establishing
realistic patient expectations and
patient education to ensure positive patient outcome. The afternoon will provide intense
hands-on sessions. We will explore
the creative and artistic aspects
important for a successful treatment outcome which will
include special techniques to create the look
your patients’ desire
and ways to treat difficult
problem areas.
Our ratio of instructor to student for this
class is 4-6 students to 1 instructor. During the course you will gain valuable insight and pearls on the “How To”

Demonstration of Botox for the Upper & Lower Face.
Treatment of glabellar frown lines, forehead lines, periorbital rhytids, nasalis”bunny” lines, melomental “marionette” lines, platysmal bands, horizontal necklace lines, pebbly “peau d’orange” chin, and hypertrophic inferior orbiculartis ”jelly roll” will be demonstrated. Ideal consultation skills & patient interview techniques will be focused on.
Cosmetic Botox® Injection Hands-On Experience.
Attendees will evaluate & treat cosmetic Botox patients for both upper & lower face. There will be maximum of 2 attendees per instructor & a minimum of 7 patients per group. All instructors are Botulinum Toxin Certified & will rotate such that the attendees will have the opportunity to work with all of the instructors.
Attendees will perform the following hands-on procedures with Juvederm®, Restylane® and/or Perlane®:

A didactic presentation on the use of Restylane/Perlane® and Juvederm for nasolabial folds, melomental folds(“marionette lines”), and lip augmentation.
Restylane/Perlane® Demonstration.
A demonstration of the most advanced techniques for the correction of nasolabial & melomental folds; and lip augmentation & enhancement.
Restylane/Perlane/Juvederm® Hands-On Injection Experience.
Attendees will perform Restylane/Perlane® injections for nasolabial folds. melomental folds; & lip augmentation, cheek revolumization, perioral lines, fine lines and jawline recontouring under the guidance of Dermal Filler CERTIFIED instructors.
