Purpose

Elite College of Business and Healthcare expects all students to uphold a high standard of personal conduct that fosters a safe, respectful, and professional learning environment. This Student Code of Conduct outlines expected behaviour, student responsibilities, and consequences for misconduct.

Scope

This Code applies to all students enrolled at Elite College of Business and Healthcare, including conduct that occurs:

  • On campus

  • During clinical or placement activities

  • At college-sponsored events

  • Online or through official college communication platforms

General Expectations

Students of Elite College of Business and Healthcare are expected to:

  • Conduct themselves with integrity, honesty, and professionalism

  • Respect the rights, dignity, and safety of others

  • Comply with all college policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Follow lawful instructions from faculty, staff, and placement partners

  • Communicate in a respectful, appropriate, and professional manner

Respectful Conduct

Elite College of Business and Healthcare is committed to maintaining an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

Unacceptable conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Disrespectful, abusive, or offensive language

  • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying

  • Discriminatory comments or actions based on race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, age, or any protected characteristic

  • Disruptive behaviour that interferes with teaching, learning, or campus operations

Disrespectful language of any kind will not be tolerated.

Violence and Threats

Elite College of Business and Healthcare maintains a zero-tolerance policy for violence.

Prohibited actions include:

  • Physical violence or attempted violence

  • Verbal or written threats

  • Aggressive or intimidating behaviour

  • Possession of weapons on college property or during college-related activities

  • Any conduct that endangers the safety or well-being of others

Violations may result in immediate disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion, and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.

Academic Integrity

Students must uphold academic honesty in all coursework and assessments.

Academic misconduct includes:

  • Cheating or plagiarism

  • Falsifying academic records

  • Unauthorized collaboration

  • Misrepresentation of academic work

Breaches of academic integrity may result in penalties ranging from grade reduction to dismissal from the program.

Use of College Property and Resources

Students must use the facilities, equipment, technology, and learning systems of Elite College of Business and Healthcare responsibly.

Misuse includes:

  • Damage to college property

  • Unauthorized access to systems or records

  • Disruption of academic or administrative operations

Conduct During Placements and Clinical Training

When participating in placements or clinical training, students represent Elite College of Business and Healthcare and must:

  • Follow all placement site rules and policies

  • Maintain professional conduct and attire

  • Respect confidentiality and privacy requirements

  • Communicate promptly regarding attendance or issues

Failure to meet professional expectations during placement may impact program completion.

 

Reporting Misconduct

Students are encouraged to report violations of this Code to College administration in a timely manner.

Reports should:

  • Be factual and truthful

  • Include relevant details and documentation when possible

Elite College of Business and Healthcare will investigate reports fairly and confidentially, where possible.

Disciplinary Measures

Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, disciplinary actions may include:

  • Verbal or written warnings

  • Mandatory meetings or training

  • Probation

  • Suspension

  • Expulsion from Elite College of Business and Healthcare

  • Referral to external authorities when required

Appeals

Students may appeal disciplinary decisions by submitting a written appeal in accordance with College procedures and within the specified timeframe.
