OSAP Changes for 2026–2027

Ontario has changed how OSAP funding is delivered starting in the 2026–2027 school year. For students at private career colleges, funding is now expected to come mainly as repayable loans rather than grants. Please speak with our Financial Aid team to understand what you may be eligible for before you enrol.

What Is OSAP?

Financial Help for Your Education

OSAP is a government financial aid program that helps Ontario students pay for post-secondary education — including tuition, living expenses, and other educational costs.

Grants

Money you don’t have to pay back, based on financial need and factors such as family income. Availability depends on your program and school.

Loans

Money you repay after your studies. Loans are interest-free while you study full-time, and repayment begins six months after you finish school.

Bursaries

Additional non-repayable funds for specific needs, such as child care or disability services.
